Our Approach - Recovery Oriented Community

We recognize the need for a productive, recovery oriented community. We strive to provide an organized, safe environment for those who are facing the challenges that come with ongoing recovery from the disease of alcoholism/addiction.

We encourage real-life endeavors and dreams. We also assist in setting realistic goals that can be achieved during their stay at Legacy. We acknowledge the necessity of a positive sense of self and individuality.

We create an atmosphere that promotes community and support the development of healthy recovery relationships that often lead to renewed relationships with families and significant others.

LEGACY acts as an early recovery support system. We embrace all 12-step programs, philosophies and fellowships. We encourage exposure to various 12-step fellowships (AA, NA and CA) so individual’s can make an informed decision as to which one they will choose as the foundation of their ongoing recovery program. We require full participation in 12-step meetings.
